“Little Lilu” early learning center to open in Scappoose, Oregon

As for the name of the classroom, Little Lilu, Stearns said Lilu means “wolf” in Chinuk Wawa, which was a widely spoken language in the Pacific Northwest before settlers arrived on the Oregon Trail.
