Is DARE “cha-muck-a-muck” Californian?
Here’s a quick crowdsourcing challenge:

Is “cha-muck-a-muck“, a word meaning ‘food’ in the Dictionary of American Regional English, from California by chance?
I’m wondering if it was influenced by both California Pidgin Spanish < chemuck > and Chinuk Wawa < muck-a-muck >, both meaning ‘food’.
With all of the libraries closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I’ve got no access to find out.
