I’ll repeat my advice to you: Don’t imitate Buchanan’s way of using Chinuk Wawa. He was very familiar with the language, but he spoke it as if he were thinking in English. That’s no way to talk any language (besides English)!

My suggest is instead to think critically about Buchanan’s CW, in light of what you’ve learned so far from reliable sources like my Saturday morning Zoom classes…
