A new online place to read more Kamloops Wawa
UBC’s “BC Historical Newspaper” collection online has added Kamloops Wawa.
Very nice because they cover the later years, through 1918, that have been incredibly hard to find until now.
There’s much more longhand English and French in these issues than there is Chinook Jargon — but it’s all fascinating stuff.
I have a question. I have an original bound copy of the “Kamloops Wawa” date 1891, Owned by the priest Fr. Le Jeune and given to a relative of mine probably late 19th century when my family when out west during the gold rush.. I was wondering who would be the best person
to talk with, about selling it and its value.
