Mahsie Jeff! I like that there are now a number of versions of most “classic” Chinook Jargon books up online. People can shop around for the one that’s easiest for them to use.

Great to see this book in digital form. I remember treasuring it in my hands when I had it out from, get this, the U of Alberta lbrary. Among the authorities Shaw cites, Eells was a (Methodist?) missionary, who translated Biblical passages and hymns into Wawa. I used to have some photocopies, somewhere.
